A few changes have been made to projectiles, outline below!
- The chance to dodge a projectile has been capped at 115 db.
- Anyone with 115 db or more has the full chance to dodge a projectile, and any additional db point will reduce the damage taken should the projectile land.
- The skill for using projectiles is now calculated based on whichever is greater: the player's skill in Short Blades, Axes, or Spears, OR the player's skill in Projectiles. Projectiles skill helps all projectiles, while Short Blades only helps small projectiles, Axes only helps axe projectiles, and Spears only helps spear projectiles.
- If a player is using a skill other than Projectiles to calculate his skill, the skill will be calculated as follows:
(Weapon Skill - 20) + (Projectiles Skill / 4)
For example:
99% Axes, 0% Projectiles = 79% skill with axe projectiles, 0% with all other projectiles
99% Spears, 60% Projectiles = 94% skill with spear projectiles, 60% with all other projectiles
99% Long Blades, 80% Projectiles = 80% with all projectiles
99% Axes, 93% Spears, 0% Projectiles = 79% skill with axe projectiles, 73% skill with spear projectiles, 0% with all other projectiles
Projectile skill is capped at 99%, so if you have a weapon skill at 99%, you only need 80% Projectiles in order to max out your skill.
Feedback is appreciated and will be considered carefully.
Cheers!

Projectiles Update
Re: Projectiles Update
It was brought to my attention that the new skill calculation might be viewed as discrediting the Projectiles skill all together, and only promote those who want to have Short Blades, Axes, or Spears setups already. There's three reasons why you should still practice Projectiles:
1. If you don't have a Short Blade/Axe/Spear setup and want to use projectiles.
2. If you want to use a projectile type other than that you're practiced in.
...And #3, the most important:
The difference between 79% skill (or even 90%) and 99% skill is SUBSTANTIAL.
Just FYI.
