Signs of LD

Here are the signs of someone LD, or linkdead, for those of you new to pk. It is common etiquette to leave the person when you realize they are LD.

1) Only meleeing and not using their normal skill (ie: bash)

Example:
Person A, a basher, melees continuously vs a combo user or dodger
Person B, another basher, keeps bashing and wins each bash, but can also see Person A is not even attempting a bash
Person A is quite possibly LD

2) The person does nothing when he/she gets low

Example:
Person A is beat/crit and is obviously loosing, perhaps because A is not using a skill but instead, is just meleeing
Person A, in combination with the above element, is now obviously LD

3) Again, the suspect person does nothing when fighting a healthy defensive bashing char when the person is low

The person is now definitely LD.



I hope this is educational for you. Hopefully people will learn to recognize the symptoms of a LD person, especially if the possible LD person is fairly veteran and he/she displays the above characteristics.
