I could be wrong, but I am thinking that by capturing the manor all you did was take it away from the original owner and make it available again. But then again I really am not 100% sure.

This is happening again, i can't claim a manor.

It appears to be working for me. I claimed a manor and was able to purchase rooms and upon reentering the manor it said welcome home, etc. If you could show me a specific log of it malfunctioning, that would be helpful.

Note: a recent fix was made in the last couple days that should make manors functional again.
