The chest was set to unpickable. It was a bug, and you went against the clear intent of the quest and tried to act like you beat it legitimately (the first time) to the extent that you traded the heron with Fogel for another item. That is cheating in my book.

But go ahead and keep on pretending like you are intellectually incapable of deciphering between the two and throwing insults when called out on it. I'll just go back to not working on this game because of inconsiderate players such as yourself.

I did not go against the clear intent of the quest intentionally. I found the chest and then upon learning it was locked attempted to pick it. It opened and well the rest is history. I made no attempt to 'cheat' and hide my actions nor did I use any clear bug to get the items. The chest was buggy that allowed it to be picked. Now because most chests are pickable it seems clear to me that it is not bug abuse or 'cheating' just a rather unfortunate bug.

Furthermore, next time don't get bitten by the cranky bug. It makes you irritable and unable to notice my sarcasm. Well that or ive just been gone too long.

This is why you're deluded to the actual problem. Why don't you use your "bond" or whatever to rectify the situation. For example, lets say I was dating someone and they did something really silly that I didn't agree with.
