Introduce Your Character

Post by Kadaj »

Now a stolid young man, Kadaj grew up in the city of Aringill
with a young sister, whom he sheltered after his mother died in child
birth of their brother and his father dissappeared along the River
Gaelin on a trip headed toward Cairhien. Occasionally his little
sister, Jangi, accompanies him on his journies throughout Andor
and the countries bordering it.

His red hair marks him as the Andoran he is, but his speech is
unhindered by the accent of his native country. He bears his burdens
heavily and has become prone to a slight squint of his eyes as well
as a stoop. He carries a bag over his shoulder with his life's reapings.
He strives to become a protector of the nation which has served him
well in his times of need.

I was born the first of twins, our mother giving her life during our birth. My brother Brogan and I grew up in the squallor of Amador, but we persevered. Somehow, most likely by the favor of the Light we were picked up by the Amadician Army in our tenth year of life, and taken in as pages for a pair of the commanders. Under their tutelage we learned the way of the blade and axe, as well as other basic fighting principles.

After six years in the service of the Amadician Army we were ranging outside of the city and we happened upon a Child of the Light patrol. We'd seen many and more of these patrols, but we had never really mingled with them. We camped with those men that night, and one of them started teaching us about Lothair Mantelar and the Way of the Light. We were both very impressed, and we inquired about joining the Children, however we were told the path to salvation was long and wrought with peril.

We left the Amadician army after one more year of service, and headed out into the world. The path to the Light lay through the deaths of Darkfriends and Shadowspawn alike. We will continue to uphold the teachings of Lothair Mantelar and the Way, and of course, we ask that if anyone feels the need to join our cause, redemption and salvation are only a letter away.

And thus is the story, and life so far of Logan the Tall, Paragon of the Light and Brogan the Small, Anointed of the Light.

Rhollorsucks, Chase's Legendary untrusty steed

Chase and Rhollorsuck have been together since birth. Chase's mother mistook Rhollorsucks as Chase and raised him instead of Chase, which left Chase to be raised by Rhollorsuck's lame blind mother. Since the day the reunited they have been adventuring through the Borderlands and other lands, mostly not waters though. Many foes have slain Chase from Rhollorsuck's back but they seem to come together in another weave of the Wheel.

A private man stands nearby, seeming to lurk in the shadows. Though his body is nearly completely clothed, the small patches of skin which are visible reveal his olive complexion. Peeking from behind the hood drawn close around his head are dark hairs, which help conceal his piercing black black eyes. Before you realize it, he has returned your perplexed staring and seems to look right through you. He clutches a dagger shaped object through his cloak as he approaches you. In a calculating tone he says, 'I am available for hire, and offer the following services:

Acquiring a desired object, 50 silver coins
Murder of a wanted, 50 silver coins
Murder of a non-wanted, 75 silver coins
Slaying of a Shadowspawn, 100 silver coins

It is suggested to keep such business private.'

Before walking away, he outstretches his arm, revealing two golden lions tattooed on his inner forearm, and hands you a small leaflet. In the corner, written in small print, the leaflet reads, 'Kiril dur Ahmid--Niende'nei'.
