Feat Points

Post by Alder »

Does anyone have suggestions/ideas for these that you'd like to see implemented? What to award for them, how the exchange occurs, etc.

Deathly Hallows -

Wielding the yew sper, wearing a Ko'bal cloak, and having a boneknit plant in pack, all at the same time.

My post may have been unclear, but I was leaning more towards ideas about rewards for feat points, as in what you can spend them on. Sorry.

How about we can spend like 15 for a room that we can go into like a clan room. And it has a 5 item chest in it. Then we can spend 1 pt per extra storage space.

Another idea: 1 pt for 1-2 hps, or 1-2 sps. or maybe qps.

I don't think feat points should be used for hps/sps as a pk bonus or qps because you are already getting qps for the actual pkill.

i'd be a fan of having a personal chest, none of that 5 pieces of equipment only crap though, enough room for a full set.

15 feat points for a full kit storage? However, if people start full looting to store I would ask for it to be removed.

some of us already have 15 or 20 full perfect sets we are juggling between characters just to be able to store them. Yay for the old days of overpowered smobbing.

Does anyone here actually NOT already have a couple of perfect sets of their choice on a storage char?

Equip hoarder? How would that be equipment hoarding? I didn't get it off of pk, and I believe it is safe to say that I have given away more perfect abs/combo/dodge sets and weapon/shield combos than anyone else on this mud has in the last few months.

There aren't many people here who haven't received something from me in the way of equipment, so to call me a hoarder is just.... ignorant.

well, i was joking, but since you said i'm ignorant i thought i'd give you a little vocabulary lesson.

hoarder: to lay up a hoard
hoard: a supply or fund stored up and often hidden away

sorry to let you know this, but keeping 15-20 perfect sets on alts would be considered hoarding.

In the basic definition of the word then yes, that is correct. However most often that term is used in a derogatory sense to imply greed or stinginess, collecting goods for only ones own self, etc.

That's actually not at all how I am or what I do with my equipment, so that's why I said that.

But yes, if we just boil it down to 'yo, that person has lots of gear stored' then yeah, i guess I am. :P

heh, don't blame me for this one. it's mind boggling that someone who has 15-20 perfect full sets wouldn't even recognize that that could be considered hoarding.

Feat Points Shops are now open. The one for DS is in Stronghold at "A Dirty Merchant's Shop". The one for LS is in Whitebridge at "A Small Booth".
