Fresh character PK event

Who would be interested in having a fresh character war? Everyone in a guardians kit with your weapon of choice(no rare, uniques or masters obviously) with new characters at level 30.

What will happen.
When you create a new character you will be granted to level 30
Your stats will be set to max accross the board and your score will be rerolled accordingly
You will be given a weapon of your choice excluding rares, uniques or masters.

What class can I be?
For this event, only rangers and warriors can participate. All skills are available though.

Where will this happen?
The event will be held in the arena's.

When will this happen?
TBA. When we have enough people interested the time will be decided so everyone can attend.

I'm not sure if that's because he never loaded them in the first place or some douche like Evilina insta-smobbed them all after whining about everyone else having them inactive.

So these characters will be temporary? What if a few of us manage to bring people from wot over, do we want to take their characters from them after the event is done?

I'd prefer to smob to be able to wear any non rare eq I can smob for plus smobbing helps tie the community together.

This event still isn't making a whole lot of sense to me, we can be rangers and warriors with a weapon of choice but in a newbie kit, why?????

1. Why are we excluding channies and thieves?
2. Why cant we all log on our respected side and smob for some eq prior to the event?
3. Why are we interested in bringing over new people when character stats are going to be maxed which means either they lose their character after the event or 10 years of statting gets circumvented.

If this event is going to be held in arena then changes should be made to it, tps transfer, corpses dont disappear, kd ratio is affected, you know the kind of stuff real pkers are interested in.

I like the idea of having this event in a new zone no one is familiar with, I just dislike the newb I suck at pk arena system.

Also, thieves and channies are banned because they can be pretty op at lvl 30, if you know how to practice them right. I love the idea of a newbie kit+weapon of choice. Also, when is this going to happen??

I like the idea of making it non-arena with a new, closed off zone. Kind of like we did with the quest from four years ago where you could enter the zone south of Caemlyn but couldn't leave.

Channies are OP these days? Does this occur before or after they get sat down almost 100% with combo weapons?

Thieves change the dynamics of pk, almost a one hit wonder vs someone who doesn't know how to keep notice on and not reenter rooms. You need to experience trying to not get stabbed while having to spam k thief and k h.thief.

How does a newbie kit + weapon of choice prove pk prowess? All that does is dish out dmg and eat dmg, it's not like mood affects flees here and being the quickest at changing mood to wimpy, flee, change brave, spam killl x, rinse and repeat has any skillfull bearing on the subject.

I would be down with tell guardian abs, combo, dodge so everyone could play the set they prefer, I for one love abs so I am not disagreeing so I can be in 130db dodge kit.

I'd be down for that Tyson, have guardian give us a set of shims or 50%ish abs so we can stay alive long enough to coordinate and strategize.

I'd be ok with minimal abs eq to be loaded for the event to make pk actually last but barf has my reasons down to a T basicly. It's meant to be a show of skills, not just who is rightfully geared/pracced. all the same eq with a chosen weapon will do so. but having no health and being constantly fragged will be no fun so, a bit of abs should be brought into it for survivability
