For some reson the tutorial locks the player into the order of commands. If you cannot remember what last command it asked you to type, then yeah... I suggest you either wait for an Imm. (game staff) to pull you out of the tutorial, or you create a new character to avoid waiting.
The tutorial generally has command such as: type: dr water, inv, hold torch, eq, eat meat, k deer, etc in it.
